Well, we are driving down to GEB today, we will be here until January 21st, the day Paula takes her IFT. This is also Paula's month day! She is 17 months old. Here is just a modge podge list of 17 things.
1. Paula was my first "college" puppy.
2. She is only my second black lab that I have raised.
3. She started out as a crazy spunky puppy, and now she's a mature calmer dog.
4. She got to go on a trip to Niagara Falls with me.
5. She's gone to GEB with me multiple times.
6. She's my first grand pup to raise.
7. I love her crazy spunkyness!
8. I'm going to miss her wiggle butt that goes all day every day.
9. She's made me cry more then any of my pups. From middle of the night seizures that made me scared to death, to thinking she would be released, to being able to hope again that she does have the chance to be a guide, and from the struggles of house manners, I've never had such a major roller coaster and I think that's why I'm so in love with this dog.
10. She LOVES to swim! She has a serious career as a dock diver if she doesn't become a guide!
11. She is a little too obsessed with cats.....
12. She likes to snore in my math class this past semester.
13. Thankfully, my teacher thinks it's hilarious!
14. She was my first dog that never suddenly got nervous about nail clipping when she was around 6 months.
15. She's helped me become a better raiser.
16. She is loved by MANY. Her crazy personality is accompanied by one super loving sweet dog who steals your heart instantly.
17. I. LOVE. THIS. DOG. SO. VERY. MUCH. And I will be crying hard on January 19th....
