Paula's birthday play date!

Today I finally had Paula's birthday play date. :) It was with the teen group we have started in my region so Atlas, G-lee, Krista, Filene, Sol, Ben, Dahlia, Paula, and Eden were all there. It was a ton of fun and I'm glad I finally did it! And Paula got some cool gifts too. :)

Paula's new gifts! Two are water toys and we are having a heat wave here this week so we will be testing them on Wednesday!

Outing to the airport!

Today Paula came with me on a group outing to the local airport! GEB pups Krista (3 month old GS), Filene (8 month old black lab), Baltic (4 month old yellow lab), and Neil (7 month old yellow lab) came too! Everyone did great! We practiced people greetings, loose leash walking, going up and down stairs, rode an elevator, checked out an escalator, and the baggage carousal. It was great! :)

Boat ride!

Today I went on a 3 hour boat ride tour with some other raiser's and pups Neil, Baltic, and Filene. These are only pictures of Paula and some of Paula and Filene. It was a lot of fun and all the pups did awesome!!!!!

school days

Paula now comes to school with me. I only go two days a week from 8AM-11AM and she has been doing well. She isn't that good during my first class, but not horrible, just not settling great, but in my second class she is really good! This picture was from today :) I love looking under the table and seeing her. <3 br="">

14 months old!

Paula is 14 months today!

Here are 14 commands Paula knows
1. Sit
2. Down
3. Stand, to stand up on all 4 feet and stay in one spot
4. Stay
5. Come
6. Heel, not a walking heel, but a heel to come and sit on my left side
7. loose leash walking (OK, this isn't a command, but it's a skill she knows)
8. Kennel
9. Load, to jump into a car
10. Get Busy, to eliminate
11. Touch, when they touch their nose to your two fingers
12. Over, when they lay flat on their side
13. Back, back up one full step
14. Close, when they sit in between your legs when you are sitting down.

News that is always bittersweet

I just got Paula's IFT date. She goes in February 2014. She will leave probably the 15th or 16th and her IFT is the 18th. I'm excited for this next step, but I know I'll be sad to see her go when February roll around!

At the sitter

I went away this weekend so Eden and Paula went to two different sitters. I got back today, but don't get Paula back until tomorrow at Puppy Class. It seems like Paula's sitters are enjoying having her, I got this picture on my FB yesterday and they said they were keeping Paula forever. ;)

Day with Paula :)

So today Paula and I had a morning together, just the two of us. :) We went to a shopping plaza and walked around for a half hour (it's like 80 out here today so we tried to stay in the shade as much as possible...). Part way we stopped for a GB break in the grass that happened to still be wet with dew and was in the shade so guess who stretched out on it... lol Then we made our way to PetsMart to check out the birds (working on bird distraction) and then I weighed Paula, she's now 61.2#. :) Now we are sitting in Barnes and Noble. I'm meeting up with the girl who is going to be sitting Paula for the weekend while I'm away in about an hour, Paula is sound asleep next to me. :) Have a good weekend!!!

A fun afternoon

Today we went on a fun outing with Filene and her raiser Emmaline. Paula came with me, Emmaline, and Filene into the frozen yogurt place and then they both practiced settle while we ate.

After that, we took Filene, Eden, and Paula to a play ground and then on a hike. We had a great time! :)

Paula's back :)

Paula got back last night! :) And after she got home and played for a little bit she had a bath, because she stunk bad. haha But she LOVED her bath! I don't know if I ever actually gave her a bath inside,  but she loved it! Check out the pictures and video. :) I'm so glad she is home! :)
