Halsa's litter

While I just found out that some of Halsa's litter mates are starting to head back to GEB. Well, head back in that they have IFT dates. Holiday and Hawkins both are suppose to go in for IFT in September. I wonder if Halsa will too???? So, that's just an update on Halsa. :) She had her Walk and Talk on Monday and her raiser said she was awesome. :)

Take Your Dog to Work Day, GEB gradution, and Seeing Dahlia :)

Friday June 24th, was Take Your Dog to Work Day. I take my GEB pups every where already, but it still was "special" to have an acutal day for "Take Your Dog to Work Day". haha My work on Friday is a the barn so they hung out in their kennels while I did chores and then they played in the indoor arena and then we went for a walk around the outdoor pastures. :)



On June 25th I got to go to a GEB graduation. Two dogs from my region were graduting! :) Pearl (above) and Frannie (below) graduated!! Way to go guys!! :)

Also on June 25th I got to see Dahlia!!! She was sooooo excited to see me and gave me lots of kisses and we played in the Community Run area. :) It was so fun and I really hope her partner stays in touch with me! :)

Well Toby left last night and I miss him, but after work yesterday we took him and Whitley swimming! :) Toby LOVESSSS to swim! It's so fun to watch him swim and he even got Whitley to swim!!! Whitley only liked to wade, but she actually SWAM which was great! :) It was a great last thing to do with him.

And in other news, I'm going to GEB on Saturday with another raiser to see Dahlia and see a graduation!! :) I'm soooo excited!! :)

update on Dahlia

So Dahlia's match with the blind person that GEB placed her with didn't work out. Her pace and pull in harness didn't match sooooo she was put back into training and then I got another call last night saying she is in the Home Training part now! So she leaves to go to her new partner on July 6th. :) I'm going down to see her soon (I'll post when I know the date) and I hope my Mom can come too! I'm so excited for Dahlia!!! :D

I took Toby to work with me today for the last 1/2 hour of work. He was such a good boy and he had fun saying goodbye to the librarians. :)

Toby's going to his finisher raiser in 5 days..... I'm not totally sad yet.... and I don't know if I'll get super sad because I'll get to see him sometimes, but I do love the little dude..... I'm going to miss him. But he's grown into a wonderful puppy. Don't get me wrong he still has some problems, but he's a good boy. On his last day with me (Sunday the 19th) we're going to take him and Whitley to the park and go swimming. Toby LOVES swimming!!! And I love watching him swim. :)

Guess what????!!!!!!!

I got "the news"!!!! :) My little 53 pound yellow lab girl....... is....... going to be..... GRADUATING AS A GUIDE on June 25th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I am SOOOOO excited and happy!! I'm so proud of her and can't wait for graduation!! This will be my "first real one" because with Beau he graduated in the ACTION program so he wasn't at the March 2010 graduation. I already ordered a "Dahlia Photo Book" for her partner and it should be here between Friday (the 17th) and Tuesday (the 21st). Oh! Also, Frannie (who was raised in my region) is graduating too on June 25th!! :)

Meet Pernault.....

I'm going to be puppy sitting a male golden pretty much every week until he goes in for IFT in October. I had him the first time from June 7th-11th. His name is Pernault and he's really sweet. He has problems with not wanting to wear his coat, but I think he'll get over that.
