Dahlia, agility dog :)

Dahlia and I finished our first Agility class, and I have to say, I REALLY enjoyed it and I'm pretty sure Dahlia did too. haha :) My sister came to take pictures on our last night and it was great!

Visiting Halsa

My Mom and I drove the 4 hours to visit Halsa and her fosters yesterday and it was great! :) I love this dog! She certainly wormed her way into my heart even though I only raised her for the first 2 months of her puppy program time. :)

And today she had her ultrasound to see if she was pregnant and...... she is!!!!!! With at least 4 puppies, but they might do another ultrasound because some might have been hiding. :) Her due date is July 25th (1 month and 1 day from now!!!!) and she will be admitted to the Whelping Kennel on July 21st. :) I can't wait for her to have some adorable puppies!!

Presentations, Hot Summer Days, and a Birthday Party

We've had a busy week! Monday we did a presentation to a Cub Scout troop. It was from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. We had groups of about 25 kids (I think) and a total of 150 kids. Teddy came with me and some other raiser's and puppies came too. Fate (GSD), Gem (released GSD), Maestro (MYL), Jada (FBL), Werner (MYL), and Meryl (FBL). Teddy did great as usual. :)

Then Tuesday Ben, Teddy, and I went to a local school to do a Disability Awareness Day. We talk to 5th graders about being blind and the guide dogs. Casey (FYL) and Werner (MYL) were also there.

Wednesday and Thursday were very hot, high 90s and it hit 100 at one point. Needless to say, it was a good day to have some fun in the kiddie pool and then nap in front of the fans in the house (we don't have AC)!

Thursday night was a puppy birthday party for Meryl (FBL) who turned a year on the 19th. Susie (FYL), Werner (MYL), Teddy, Ben, Dahlia, Bijou (FBL), Jada (FBL), Nick (pet dog), and Joy (FYL) all came to celebrate. :)

Another visitor

This guy is Admiral. He's a 5 1/2 month old lab who is visiting until the 17th. :) He's got a little spunk, but not too bad, but we are working on not barking. Other then that he's been good so far, but I just got him yesterday at 3. :)

A weekend visit

This weekend a friend of mine who is a puppy raiser, came to visit with her released German Shepherd, Paxton. :) We took Dahlia and Paxton to the lake and walked the pier and some bluffs close by. It was a fun day and Dahlia and Paxton were tired! :)
