2011 is almost over?

Well Twenty Eleven is coming to an end so here's a little recap. I'm going to attemp to post a picture with each month. :) Enjoy!

January 2011 - Whitley and I spent two weeks doing an internship at the Breeding Kennel. I also got to visit Dahlia!

February 2011 - We welcomed Toby into our home!

March 2011 - Beau's 1 year anniversary as a working guide happened on the 9th.


April 2011 - We went to puppy class and we did a disability awareness day! Halsa also came for a visit.

May 2011 - Halsa turned 1 on the 11th and Dahlia turned 2 on the 15th! We wrapped up my senior year of high school as well. We took a road trip to VA and on the way stopped in Gettysburg and before we left VA we went into DC. Whitley did great and we had a LOT of fun!

June 2011 - Toby left on June 20th to go to his finisher raiser. Whitley walked across the stage with me when I graduated from high school on the 4th. I went to visit Dahlia on the 25th to say good bye before she went out for home training. We welcomed Ben into our home on the 29th!

July 2011 - Whitleyturned 1 on the 6th! We spent another 2 weeks at the BK and I got to visit Beau!Dahlia was released from training on the 12th. I picked Dahlia up on the 23rd.Whitley did Reading with Dogs at the library until the first week of August.

August 2011 - We had our annual Teen Puppy Raiser's Picnic and that weekend we also went to Niagara Falls with Whitley, Paxton, and Ben. The last week of August we spent most of it at State Fair. We competed in the dog show (and I in the horse show! :). Whitley got a 98 and Dahlia did well too.

October 2011 - Halsa had her IFT, passed it, and was put on Breed Eval! :) I got Whitley's IFT date for December.

November 2011 - We celebrated Thanksgiving and Whitley and I spent our last month together. She showed that she was truly ready for training by being on her best behavior, always willing to please, and ready to go everywhere.

December 2011 - Whitley had her IFT on the 13th, passed it, and is now in training. We welcomed Teddy on the 3rd! Toby turned 1 on the 12th! I also had a Teen Puppy Raiser's Christmas party. We celebrated Christmas with family and friends and I got to visit Beau and his family on the 27th! While I was visiting Beau, I also got to say a quick hello to Whitley. :)

I hope everyone has a great 2012!!!! I'm looking forward to another great year! :)

Happy 8 months!

Today Ben turned 8 months!!! Also yesterday, my brother and I drove down to GEB to visit with Beau and his partner! I will post pictures later. :) Also, while I was at the TS I got to see Whitley for a quick hello! :)

Exciting news!

Whitley had her IFT today and... she passed!!! And is now in harness training!! Yay!! :) And then I also found out yesterday that Halsa is now an official brood for GEB!! I'm looking forward to getting to raise one of her puppies in the future!! :D Enjoy the pictures!

Happy 1st birthday to my baby boy Toby!!! I hope he had an amazing day!!

Saturday - 1 Day, last day

Today was Whitley's last day. Tomorrow I leave with another raiser for GEB at 9:30. Today we went to the barn and then later my sister and her boyfriend took me to a town about 45 mins away to take some last pictures of her. They turned out AMAZING! I'm posting a few of them. :) We also went to two pet stores and another store and also out to dinner with a friend of mine. It was a great last day and now she is snuggled up at my feet.

Friday - 2 days

Well, this is a day late, but on Friday we didn't do much. We did run some errands to the store and library and Whitley was great. :) Teddy tagged along too and got to meet lots of new people at the store! In the evening I made home made dog treats and later the dogs took naps. :)

Thursday - 3 Days

Again, I don't have any pictures yet, but here's what we did today. This morning we went to work from 9-11 (instead of 9-12) and after work we headed to a Rotary Club meeting to each lunch and do a presentation. The presentation went great! Whitley did really well considering how close she had to be with 4 other dogs and Teddy did great too! He was awake during lunch and then slept in my arms the whole time I did the presentation with the 4 other raisers. :) It was fun! On the way home we stopped at the library again and they met Teddy and said by to Whitley. When we got home I took the 3 big dogs outside to run and play and go crazy and have fun! :) Later, I took Whitley with me BACK to the library to see "The Help". It started at 5:30 and ended a little before 8 and she slept the whole time. :) Sucha good girl! Then we ate dinner and I worked on homework and now they are in their kennels and we're going to bed. Goodnight!

Wednesday - 4 Days

Today Whitley came to work again with me and did great. :) Later, I took theire Christmas pictures. :) And they turned out ADORABLE! but I'm waiting to post them until Christmas Eve! :) In the late afternoon we went over to the middle school to pick up the boy I watch in the afternoon, he stayed late and needed to be picked up this time. There were a lot of kids, but Whitley did great!!! Later we are probably going to the store and then that's it. Oh, early this morning we took Teddy to get his 9 week shots and he gained one pound since Saturday. :) And Ben weighs 44 pounds. Ben also has chin acne and is now being put on antibotics so hopefully it will clear up soon!

Tuesday - 5 days

Today Whitley turned 17 months! She came to work with me and did great! Teddy was cold today so he wore his pj's most of the day. :) He was so cute! He went to the library to meet the librarians and then I also took him to IGA and we carried him while we picked up a few things.

Monday - 6 Days

Today we again, didn't do much, so much for a fun filled week of lasts! haha Oh wait from Wednesday to Saturday it will be fun filled and busy! lol Anyway, here's some cute old pictures of Whitley from last fall and Christmas. :) Enjoy!!

Sunday - 7 Days

Well, I never posted this yesterday, but yesterday (the 4th) was one week until I go down to GEB with Whitley. We spent the day at home, except for going to a baby shower at 1. We got home at around 5 and she was great! It was in a room and there were lots of people in the room with us and lots of food and she was great! I was so happy. :) In the evening she snuggled up next to me until we went to bed. And the picture is from Saturday night when we went to bed. Whitley is sleeping next to my bed, Teddy is in the kennel, and Dahlia is over on the floor, for some reason she didn't lay down on her dog bed. haha

Puppy News!!!!!

I just found out that this little guy (up there ^^^^) will be my newest puppy!!! Teddy was matched to me and I am so excited!!! I can't wait until tomorrow when he comes home!
