Puppy Sitting - Susie

Susie is a female yellow lab born March 9^th, 2012 to Calypso and Caruso. She is 5 months old.

On the 7^th I took Susie into town to practice “Walking without pulling”, ignoring distractions, walking up and down stairs, and we practiced “close” on a bench. She did really well, it was only 84 out, but I guess it was too hot for her because anytime we went into a store or was in a shady spot she would go into a down and not want to get up. haha (picture 1 – 6; Susie at the beginning of our walk. After we practiced close she laid down in front of me. Walking over a bike rack that I put down on the ground, she did really good walking over it! Taking a break inside the Laundromat. Inside a craft store in town. Walking up some stairs, this picture came out blurry. :/)

We really didn’t do much other than playing at home and working on not barking and also responding to the “down” command. Susie goes home at 11:00AM today.

Susie on the 9th while we were playing outside in the kiddie pool and then she decided to roll around in the dirt. haha
