We have a puppy named Aggie being raised in our club as well!
I am so jealous of the shepherds! I would love to raise a shepherd one day but It would mean switching organizations...
Carrie's Raiser:
GEB has bred a lot of shepherds over the last couple years, more blind people are asking for them so they are trying to breed them more. I'm jealous of you guys because you guys seem to have a lot of goldens where, GEB has pretty much no goldens. We have a few broods, but they kept being sent to other schools to have puppies, actually Mia (a golden) had a litter of puppies at GDB in late spring and she is due to come to GDB again soon to have more puppies.
GDB seems to be expanding their golden gene pool right now so there are a ton of goldens coming out of the kennels at the moment.
Carrie has a lot of the golden personality and I completely fell in love. I am actually slated to get one in the early summer :)
When I first started raising they were just ending their shepherd breeding. At the time, I remember not caring all that much. But now every time I see one I wish they still had them!
Cool!!! You are very lucky! I'm DYING to raise a golden, but I won't be able to for a long time... :/ hey maybe you'll get a Mia puppy! :) That would be awesome because Mia was my first golden love. :) I think I have pictures of her on here..... somewhere I don't know where haha
